Defrosting my frost free freezer

Hi guys,

Long story short. Hotpoint engineer said we need to defrost our integrated freezer as the fan is hitting ice behind the grill at the top. It’s only 10 months old.

Started the process 3 hours ago and am expecting water to come out of the hole in the bottom shelf. Nothing yet!

Does it definitely come.out of there?
