Qualtex want to charge me £17.50 delivery for any orders under £65.00. Now I know that I am fairly remote. But we still get our daily deliveries from the Postman… I think it is quite excessive, so I am very reluctant to order anything, especially for small items.
For example I need a couple of hinges for a Hotp double oven, PT no. C0023945, Qualtex price is a reasonable £5.55 each, but when I then add £17.50, giving a total of £28.60. I will have to fit them at cost, because I can’t justify the price of the parts.
Does everyone else pay this same delivery charges.??

PS I had a look at spares@ but they are not listed.
If you spot this post Mr Conway may I ask, can you get parts for a ELBA PX906??

Skye but still in the UK. Because we now have a free bridge which makes us officially part of the mainland.

But it’d be posted and all UK postcodes are standard mail charges, so what’s the problem?

You see this a lot with Northern Ireland as well, loads of companies charge people more for some reason for islands and NI, I don’t get it as the cost is the same to do it. Okay, if it’s a carrier the prices gets seriously stupid, but not using Royal Mail.

Dave will be able to get them for you David although I’ve no idea of what price. However, it sure wont’ be £17.50 to pop a couple of hinges in the post.

Just drop him a line, he usually doesn’t bite. 😉
