The ventilation/cooling fan on our Delonghi dual fuel cooker (series D906G11) has stared to make a metallic racket – I guess loose but certainly connecting with something.
As it appears to be between the oven and gas plates could anyone please advise the easiest way to get into it.
It is still working as the air is moving but I guess this won’t be for too long.
    Thanks

PS just read after posting the sticky Corgi post at the start of the topics, totally understand but this is in OZ and any private messages accepted without liability. Happy Anzac day.

    Hi

The cooling fan will be below the top hob assembly,Common problem if the fan is the large one over 12″ long, the fan blade moves across the shaft.

How old is this oven ?.We would normally only change the motor which is a twist fit and replace the bushes the blade and the old cowling is left where it is.

    Hi,
The cooker is only about 20 months old and in us only 14. Does this mean it is accessible from the rear ? As everything is still ‘working’ apart from the racket I haven’t even looked at the back yet.
    Cheers,

nope.. its a pig to change!!

nad, unfortunatley, the hobtop has to come off, which involves removin panels.

cant stop you doing it, but we have to advise calling a corgi registered engineer!!

    sorry, but rules is rules

Thanks, I’ll call in the local equivalent. I’m fine with electricity but gas is a whole different ball game.
