    Anyone know of an effective way to descale a washer.Bosch seem to get very bad and ordinary descaler does not help

    try a cup of white vinegar in with a 90 degree wash, normally does the trick

    Don’t bother with the vinegar, if it is really bad use the proper stuff. 😉

    Most of the bosch i get in to recon are caked up in white limescale,this is different than other makes,take apart a hotpoint drum and when they smell its because of a build up of sludge.
    Other door seals are replaced because of mould,but the Bosch have to be replaced because they are ingrained with scale
