    Just got 10 packets of descaler from a supplier.The box is 3 months out of date.The sachets are rock hard and the descaler has changed colour.First the supplier (Qualtex)was going to change it and then they say it makes no difference and have changed their minds.Are they right

    if its the hotpoint descaler it does not have a shelf life and the date you are reading is its manufacuring date.

    Ok thanks,i will use it then.the colour change had put me off.
