    Please Please Please help
    i have recently purchased a second hand Philco Softline Washer Dryer
    no manual was available at the time the shop man said he would fetch one at a later time which he didnt
    we cant use it
    there is no obvious setting for spinning clothes
    and when it washes clothes appear still wet so a second spin is rrequired
    please advise if you can what settings bvetween 1 and 14 are the spin cycles

    Martin,
    Philco is now part of the Indesit company. Whether the manual will still be available from them is debatable, but it is a starting point. They will need the model number though – Softline just defines a group of machines.

    BTW, the basic programme information should be displayed along the top edge of the control panel or lid. From memory, the programmes were in two groups – 1-7 being cottons with the fast spin, 8 onwards being the easycare/woollens etc. Therefore, 7 should be fast spin.
