    Does any one have any tips on how to remove the nasty grey slimy smelly deposits from inside my machine. I can see them if I peel back the rubber by the drum, so not easy to get to manually. I have tried the supermarket available products for ‘cleaning your washing machine’ but to no avail. I’m sure my granny would have used lemon juice or caustic soda or something. All tips gratefully recieved. Thanks, Charlie

    A maintenance wash (90 deg wash with powder or tablet) every month, no clothes in it will help to keep machine inner clean and smelling fresh.
    Also keeping the machine door ajar when not in use will help.
