Detergent Dispenser

I have a couple of questions regarding the detergent dispenser.

How does it work? does it just open as soon as the water starts to fill?

Also how does the pre-rinse funtion work?

Assuming this is your new Hotpoint, 😉

The detergent dispenser is opened with a solenoid device that is triggered by the PCB at about the same time as the heater is switched on during a normal wash cycle.

Most pre rinse programmes are just a short wash in cold water.

Yes its my new Hotpoint and so far im loving it to bits, i just hope out of the thousands manafactured every year that im one of the lucky ones.

So far i have been using seperate Finish Powder Detergent, Rinse Aid and Salt and have been amazed at the results, even my tea mugs no longer have stains in them…

How did i ever mange all these years with out one….

I like the stains in my old, large one pint mug, helps to enhance the flavour… 8)
