    Took delivery of a brand new Maytag MSE760FARS dishwasher yesterday. Filled the salt dispenser up with salt but idiot features here forgot to put the cap back on before running a wash. I’m in a soft water area. Will this have caused any problems? 😳 😥

    Its unlikely to have done any long term damage.

    If you are in a very soft water area then salt is not required in most cases anyway.
