D&G – Servis & Indesit

Here’s a good one – Went out to a D&G extended warrantly call today on a Servis washer. Cabinet was dented by tub jumping out of shock absorber. D&G decide to offer replacement to customer – She was offered an Indesit. Now ladies and gentlemen read between the lines and post your thoughts

Simple, D&G rate Servis about as highly as we do. 😉

In fairness I saw a document from RETRA insurance and the ONLY appliance that they wouldn’t insure was anything with a “Servis” label on it. I wonder why… ? 😈

When will these silly buggers realize that by overpricing the parts, all they succeed in doing is moving the cover to another manufacturer. Thereby, losing the potential sale and associated service. Talk about the blind leading the blind.

from merloni point of veiw cheap with a short life is great ,look at brand names they carry now ,plus subsidized by italian gov for exporting.. there killing the trade but will get a few years of proffit for themselves . big retailers dont help dont care about customers will sell any crap 2 them make there bit on warranties ,how long before consumer revolt though any 1 been to local tip latley seen how many modern machines are there

When I used to do re-con apliances ,I had an arrangement with the company that disposed of curry’s trade ins local to me .
I used to regularly load a trailer with Hpt WMA’S WM’S,Servis ,Bosch etc alll in good condition all relatively new models.
usually pressure systems ,Brushes ,doorseals,modules ( Servis! ) All at a Fiver ! a time.

How many people must self diagnose faults and condemn there m/cs needlessly ?, Mind you with the prices of some of the machines you can do that I suppose
