ParticipantAny suggestions what might be wrong with my machine?
I started getting the “sticking on one minute” problem a while ago, then the displayed length of a typical “auto” cycle went from about 120 minutes to 186 (it’s now stuck on 156) and my dishes often come out looking a bit grey. The end of every cycle seems to involve a long time with the pump running but nothing circulating (or sometimes a trickle of grey water). I’ve tried the “tip-test” but no water ran out of my machine, so I don’t think it’s a leak.
I’ve seen people talk about some kind of self test mode for Bosh machines on this forum. How would I activate this for my machine?
Thanks,
Martin

Martin,
Confession time for you now!…Have you always ensured your machine has been fully topped up with salt and that at no time have you run the machine without it?

Yes, honest!
I’ve only had the machine for about 15 months (just out of waranty of course!) and I’ve always re-filled it when the low-salt light comes on.
Do you think it might be a limescale problem? I am in a hard water area.

Thank you for your confession my son and may your God go with you! 😀
But in all seriousness and stuff, I reckon you need pay close attention then to the pump inlet (lowest point of the tub, where the water sits) Clean that out, check the pump (see your user guide). Then if tears still ensue, give me a call.
Let us prey!

That fault will be blockage of ribbed hose from pressure chamber or/and chamber itself is a possibility.
