Dilpomat 8332 error code FA

Hello,

My diplomat 8332 had an F8 fault a couple of weeks ago, which I sorted by cleaning the filters and things and running once empty. Everything seemed fine.

This morning it has barely started the cycle when it started beeping and now has an ‘FA’ code. I don’t know what that one means and I can’t find it with the magic search feature 🙂

Please can anyone help?

FA represents the Optical Water Indicator failure code. Interesting, mainly because your machine doesn’t have one. I would start by investigating the state of the Water Indicator (black grid in the sump under the filters). This has a bad habit of filling with fatty deposits and can cause under and over filling problems. Very hot water and a toothbrush may clear it. Be careful……..

It’s possible that the flow meter is playing up, but don’t worry about that yet.
