    Diplomat 4510 top oven grill
My grill/top oven has stopped working, I have replaced the element with a new one but it still will not heat up. When switched on I have power to the element on both terminals.
Could it be the thermostat that is not working rather than the element
Thank you for any help you can give me

Live testing is often a sure way to end your life. 😉

If the element has continuity then it should work if you have voltage there as, in an ADP4510 it’s only a single element and not exactly complex.

The regulator or thermostat would only feed power to the element then cycle it as it reached the preset level. So, if you have power there then my guess would be that was okay.

Thank you for you quick response I have checked the continuity of the new element and that is OK so i am at a lost to the problem then as you mentioned it not exactly a complicated bit of kit.
    Thank you once again.
