A couple of nights ago, my mums oven was on gm 5 and it over cooked the food. She noticed the light bulb had gone too.

She got a new bulb from the local repair shop and that is now working but there is still temperature problems.

If she light it, and sets it up at a low heat the flames are 4inches high and do not drop.

    Any ideas.

The thermostat has failed by the sound of it.

Your Mum will need to call a Corgi registered engineer to carry out the work. Quite a straightforward repair generally.

Check the repairs@ link below for one or if that fails, the Corgi website lists all registered engineers by postcode etc.

    Thanks Dave

Will check out that link now.

He cooker is in a fitten Kitchen, and it has not been fitted too well, rather complicated access to appliances.

Will the repair guy need to know this inadvance?

    This Forum is brilliant

    Cheers
