I’m assuming that the bulb filament has failed as I can’t gain access to the bulb since the rectangular glass cover over the bulb is extremely reluctant to move.

Can anyone please tell me the method of accessing the bulb.

The part number for ordering a replacement would also be very useful.

Details on rating plate are Model:- 059052032

    Ser:- 00390298

    Thanks for any assistance.

It should just prise off with a straight-bladed screwdriver. They can be a bit “baked on” after a lot of use.

Thanks very much Penguin for the prompt reply.

I was rather reluctant to be rather more forceful before checking with someone more knowledgable, having had my fair share of component breakage revealing the correct way of dismantling. ‘Er indoors suggested more force may be the solution.

In case it is of assistance to others I now know the oven is a type APL 0301.

    Thanks once again.
