Diplomat 620

Hi,

I have a Diplmat 620 oven and if the temperature is set to around 200c when warming up – when the oven reaches this temperature it switches it self off totally i.e. no power, oven dead, after a short spell (5 minutes or so) the oven switches back on in Automatic mode and I have to press the “hand” symbol to get it back to normal operation – after which it seems fine. If the temp is set below 200c and then increased after the oven is warmed up then all is OK.

I would appreciate any ideas / suggestions to the cause of the above problem.

Thanks for the response and apologies for not putting all the information on here.

The model is an AHY3601.

200c cut-off is about right if the cooling fan isn’t running – the safety trips at 180c ambient.
