ParticipantHello
I have a diplomat 8101 integrated Dishwasher and for no apparent reason it started to foam at the mouth yesterday. I emptied some of the water and tried running it again.
Now all that happens is that it runs, and runs and will not finish it’s cycle!
Any ideas or a suggestion of an engineer in the Portsmouth area, none are identified in the search on this website.
Thanks in advance, J

If it’s foaming it’s normally one of these things:
1/ Incorrect detergent added (washing up liquid)
2/ Rinse aid spillage
3/ Poor quality 3in1 tablets
4/ Incorrect detergent dossage.
Presumably your postcode is PO?? Did you try repairs@ ?

Dave,
I did try the Repairs@ for a Diplomat Dishwasher and got no listings.
I have just read another posting on the same problem and the replt indicated that the problem might clear itself if I keep running the machine and changing the water? Any thoughts?

It’s worth a try Justin.
What actually happened then ? Did someone put washing up liquid in it ?

Not too sure what happened, I loaded it as normal and added a 3in1 tablet and started it before I wen to work. I got a call an hour later from my wife saying foam was leaking out and when see open it it was completly full of foam and the water wasn’t draining.
I have tried to phone the number on the back of the manual for tech support (0345 959722), but it doesn’t seem to work. Any idea what the new number is?
It’s not that old (around 3 years i suppose).
