    Hi,

I have searched the forum and tried a few things, but can’t get any results. My dishwasher has stopped filling up, it drains at the start, but no water is coming in.

I have tried cleaning the pipe with the black rubber cover, no gunk!
I have taken off the arms
I have checked that there are no kinks in the water inlet pipe.

There are no lights flashing either but if I open the door to check if there is any water in the dishwasher, it makes a terrible gurgling noise even though there is no water…?

    Any suggestions?

Have you checked the under tray for leakage? If the flood protection system is activated, the drain pump will run continuously, door open or not. Power off if investigating.

    Hi,

Thanks for responding. I haven’t checked the tray, maybe a silly question, but how do I access it? My dishwasher has a door panel screwed to the front. Do I access it from the back?

It doesn;t drain when the door is open, when the door is opened, the program stops running.

    Thanks

OK, if the pump cuts off when the door opens, it’s not flooded underneath. Valve failure would eventually generate an error code (flashing LEDs) for a time-out fault, so I think we must assume that the machine thinks that it is full of water and is progressing the programme. This is almost certainly some sort of blockage or failure in the water level control system. Tricky one to pin down exactly – probably time for some pro help.
