Diplomat 8132 power button

hi,

I have a built-in Diplomat 8132.

The programme select button works fine, but now the actual power button doesn’t turn the machine on.

When I inherited the appliance, there was a matchstick holding down the power button so that it would complete it’s cycles!

Now the matchstick is gone and the button top (the bit with the printed power logo on) has disappeared, I can’t get the damn thing to work at all 🙁

Is there a power button/switch I can buy off this site and a manual to help me connect it up?

There’s no manual Steve, but an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you the switch and the fascia if you need it as sometimes they break at themounting for such things, worth checking.

Power off though, it’s live.

thanks for the info! – the plastic bit around the button/switch is cracked, so it would be nice to replace that too.

an email will be sent to the spares address tomorrow along with a picture.
