ParticipantI have a problem with dishwasher which is around 5 years old. It sounds as if water is being taken into dishwasher but this does not actually happen.
Error lights are 1st 3 flashing and 5th constant.Any ideas??

Code is no fill detected in the time allowed. Possible faults are water turned off, fill hose kinked/trapped or valve failure.
If the machine sounds like it’s filling, you should see water across the base inside.
Power off if you decide to investigate the water valve.

Thanks. There is water in base on unit.
Code has changed to 4th and 5th lights flashing.
Is this still to do with valve?

well put it this way if you have put rock salt in it then the chances are that is what has caused the base to flood, caused by over foaming, you could have asked that in here rather than pm me as lots of engineers will then view your post and offer an opinion on said problem.

Find the leak! Commonest one is from the “O” rings on the right-hand side where the fill matrix joins the softener unit. Remove r/h side panel to observe.
