Can anyone advise part number and source of Smeg pcb for this Diplomat ADP8242 as MFI price is silly and QER can’t fix as dead chip ❗

If memory serves that’s a Smeg one and I’m sure that it can be gotten at a “sensible” price. Masterpart do list it but it’s a POA, which means no stock.

I may even have one. 😉

If you take the “004” off the front, it’s 816290672 – in stock at M/part @ £93.

Thing is with HTM, some of the prices are actually pretty keen and, to be fair to them, they seem to have somehow maintained the quality on many parts, which I have to say I applaud. They’re not on the ball with them all, but some they are most certainly at the races with.

There again, price isn’t always the driving factor, service and quality are for me.

It’s like this, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. I learned that lesson very well through bitter experience sadly.
