Diplomat 8332 – red lights, unresponsive

Hi,

We’ve moved into rented accommodation with a Diplomat 8332, and no manual. We’ve looked on MFI for a manual, with no luck.

Right now, only the on and off buttons are responsive and it won’t start. Counter says 01, program is set to 50 degrees, green light by program start button, two red lights lit next to that.

We’ve tried switching it off at the mains and leaving it, with no improvement.

We’d dearly appreciate any kindly advice. 😥

i have the same machine, the manual does not give u any answers really and u have to ring the service no. they want to charge for an engineer.

I’m no engineer, but if you hold down the start button, it’s on the left hand side. Hold it in for 4 or 5 seconds it goes back to responsive mode. Hopefully.

The counter is the delay time, and it means the wash won;t start until one hours delay.

If you close the door and wait for one hour it will probably start.
