hi, i think this is the problem, yesterday whilst using the quick wash cycle, my other half noticed the machine overfilling then emptying itself, it didnt move on in the cycle unless he manually moved the dial, just kept filling and emptying itself. then after cleaning the filter, if i put the machine on a different cycle say number 5, it goes through all the cycle but has hardly any water in the machine, (water level is not visible in the drum)

    any help greatly needed.

    thanks

You have a blockage in the pressure system caused by a build-up of detergent and scum.

The cure is to locate the pressure vessel which is part of the sump hose then give it a really good squeezing….as someone else once said on here, think ‘milking a cow’ 😉

    Power off, first though.

You may need to fill and drain the machine more than once and keep manipulating the hose to get it fully clear.
