KeymasterWe have a Diplomat Washer/Dryer in our rented flat that is about 1 month old. It has been working fine until last week, we did a wash followed by a dry and when we opened the door water spilled out all over the floor.
Then yesterday, even though there was no washing in the machine it hadn’t been used for two days and it wasn’t even switched on – it had filled up with water.
I’m guessing that water is coming back into the machine from the drainage pipes or something. Anyone heard of this before? Any help would be appreciated
Many thanks – Billy

Yes, many many times Billy.
It’s not been installed correctly and is back syphoning from the sink waste.
Get the kitchen fitters back and ask them to install it in accordance with the manufacturers installation instruction 😉
Basically the waste hose is too low allowing water (clean or otherwise) that goes down the sink plug to run down the hose in to the machine.

Hi guys I was wondering if you can help?
I have recently bought a flat and all the whitegoods came with the property. however I have all the instruction manuals apart from the washing machine. (You guessed it) The washing machine is a Diplomat 8702 washer dryer. Do you know where I can get a copy of the instruction booklet because I have been having some problems using the dryer programs.
Cheers

KeymasterThere’s no link to request or download, you’ll have to call them I’m afraid.

Did you ever get the manual? I had the same problem and I cannot work out how to use the dryer function…so I contacted MFI and they were supposed to send me the manual. A month later I am still waiting. I really need to use the dryer!! Anyone help?

KeymasterFrom memory, make sure the half-load button is pressed and the dry timer set. The dryer cycle should start after the was/spin is complete.
