ParticipantThanks for any help.
I have an integrated Diplomat 8902.
Earlier in the week it was showing error code E1 “anti-flooding system”. After reading advice on this forum, I have dried out the bottom tray (where all the electrics and pump is), as I did discover a couple of milimetres of water. I have also dried out the inside of the machine, and cleared the filters.
I then reset, using the advice on how to do this. This worked ok, it started a fresh cycle, however after approx 5 minutes stopped and is flashing error code E6 (“dishwasher fails to drain”). However, no water went into the machine for it to drain. To see if the pump is draining, I put a few bowls of water into the machine, started it again, and it does immediately pump out this water at the beginning of a cycle. This suggests the pump is draining fine, however again it stopped after 5 minutes at showed the same error codes.
I have tried the reset technique etc, and after much frustration cannot seem to get any further. Error code E6 still there.
Is there anything else I can do, before I have to pay for an engineer?
Thanks for your help.

It suggests that the water level switch is stuck in the full position. The computer can’t actually “see” the water; it relies on the level switch to read full or empty at appropriate points in the programme.
The switch or its air hose may have water in it or the switch itself may have failed.
Power off before going in….

Thanks Penguin 45.
It actually turns out it was a minor problem. After I sorted out the flooding, one of the cables must have come loose from the programme panel. I put it back in and the dishwasher is now working fine!
No cost involved, which is excellent. Thanks for your advice and for the help you generally provide on this forum.
