Diplomat ABA8542 (Crosslee) Vented Tumble Dryer

Doing this job on behalf of a private landlord, tenant reported that this dryer was dead and when I called I decided after testing that the circuit board required replacement, called today with replacement and fitted but now when the start button is pressed the drum will just turn once and then stop with the creasguard light flashing. The part number quoted that I fitted to this machine is 421307856423. I did a Kenwood machine near identical a couple of months ago, the wiring diagrams for both machines are the same but the part number for that one was 421307856422. As I have run a test on all components from board connections + capacitor I don’t really know if I should fit the board with the other number or maybe the motor ??. Any help would be appreciated.

i would get the manufacturer code off the back of the dryer and ring crosslee technical in Halifax they will be able to tell you which board to fit
