diplomat adp 8102 dishwasher problem

evening,
we bought 2 years ago a complete mfi kitchen and with it came a diplomat 8102 integrated d/washer – everything was fine up until 2 weeks ago when i came to load it up the machine started to run and fill – then stopped !!!! the “in progress” light is on and does nothing. i rang the “tech” no who told me to unplug it for a while and switch back on. this should reset it. nothing seems to work – however last night i tried switching it on and the machine filled and ran ok !!! sucess i thought

however the same thing has happend again tonight – any suggestions guys???

is there some kind of reset system or method of button pressing to be done?

i feel that a £70 call out just to look at it seems a little topheavy

Stick your post code up Nik and maybe one of us will respond at a lower price than that. MFI always quote a higher price than many of their agents actualy charge.

If you let him know it’s made by Brandt, he will be familiar with the model as it’s the same as some of the newer Hotpoint’s who use the same dishwasher.
