I’ve got a Diplomat ADP 8102 that’s just started to play up. It never reaches the end of a cycle. It seems to get stuck on the part where it’s hot water is going in (and presumably being pumped out, as it’s not overflowing.)

Could anyone suggest first steps in trying to find out what’s wrong please?

    Thanks

    Andy

It doesn’t take hot water. The timer stops and turns the heater on. The thermostat will complete a circuit when the water reaches temperature and re-start the timer. Therefore, your machine is probably not heating the water.

Possibilities are heater failure, broken wire at the pivot point in the door, safety stat tripped out, or timer not switching the heater on.
Power off if you intend to deal with this yourself.

Sorry, I should have thought about the fact that the water wouldn’t go in hot. It’s certainly hot when I open the door though and there seems to be plenty of it in there. Would this indicate a different problem or am I missing the point?
