Hi, I have a 13 year old Diplomat ADP8112 dishwasher, but instructions for the 8224. It stopped mid cycle and no lights at all were on/flashing. Ordered and fitted a new on/off switch and reconnected the 4 connectors to it. There is another pink wire, which my husband swears was not attached to anything and looks like it can’t plug in to anything, but rather hook onto something and then slip onto a thin piece of metal. We cannot find anywhere for it to go. With this wire not attached to anything, we switched the dishwasher on. Lights 4 & 5 flash six times, then there is a bleep and lights 3 & 5 come on and stay on. Can anyone help please?

    Re: Diplomat ADP 8112

Following on from the above – I have been in touch with an appliance engineer, who told me that the pink wire is connected to the temp thermistor at one end, so the other end should definitely be connected to something! He couldn’t get hold of a circuit diagram as he is not the agent for Diplomat. I live on an island and there are no agents over here! I do have pictures, if anyone thinks they can help, or point me in the direction of a circuit diagram. Thank you
