Diplomat ADP 8112 reset switch

Hi,

I have a recurring problem with my dishwasher, where the water stops being heated for some reason. The last time this happened the repair guy simply pressed a reset switch at the back and it worked again, but I cannot find the switch. Anyone know exactly where it’s located on the rear of the machine ?

Hi Jason,

It’s not on the rear of the machine, it’s actually inside it under the heater.

The most common cause of this is loose items of cutlery falling onto the heater/stat and messing up the temperatures IME, so mind how you load the machine. Although it is possible that there is a faulty thermostat.

Oh, I was told it’s at the rear on the left hand side above the Thermostat.

Still cannot find it. Will have to bite the bullet and get another engineer out.

Found the reset button. It was indeed inside the machine under the element.
