ParticipantHave had the dishwasher for 2-3 years.
Yesterday having noticed reduction in cleaning, checked the filter, but clean. Looked into filter housing and saw that the inner filter was nearly blocked with small bits including fluff, just like in a tumble dryer filter.
So stripped out the filter system and cleaned it out. Put it all back together, turned it on set to cold rinse. Filled with some water approx 1 liter and then stopped. And nothing.
help!!
Still nothing can anyone help before I take it to the tip???January 7, 2005 at 3:49 pm #122793kwatt

Jonsco,
Sorry I missed this one. 😳
It sounds like the E2 error thing but on that model it’s not. It could be a metering tank problem or a couple of other things but it’s going to be really hard to advise any further on the net.
Engineer case I’m afraid. 😕

ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP 8122 Now Bosch SMS 4452
Hi thanks for the reply, however have already moved it out in to the garage, and brought back from the grave the old bosch.
But of course nothing every runs as expected. It hasn’t been used for 2 years, but it washes better than the diplomat. The problem now is that the bosch seems to have a problem with I think a thermal switch.
It will start the wash cycle but it just seems to get hotter and hotter and it just carrys on washing, the only way to continue is to move the knob round to the drain cycle. It then does the same on the rinse cycle.
So I figure it must be a temperature sensor. Though I know very little about dishwashers.Any ideas and recommendations please
Thanks
