I have read with interest some posts on this model. When starting my machine pumps to waste ok, but then stops with the 1st and last lights lit solid (Not flashing). I have tried the power reset e.g 3 secs, but still the same.
I presume the sequence for power reset is: Switch off at supply, On at supply, on at appliance power button, then program button 4 times (within 3 secs) then close door?

    Anybody any Ideas. Many Thanks

    Si.

Nope, don’t close the door, power on with the on/off switch then press the prog button 4 times, make sure the two outermost lights are on, if they are, switch off with the on/off switch, then back on again.

After that it should be reset.

The fault you describe though may not be cured by the reset procedure as it’s the E2 fault which will need an engineer to rectify more often than not, it’s worth a try though 😉

Thanks for that, further developements, when power restored normally, the 2 far right lights (4 & 5) were flashing??????, I have cleaned all the filter area, and found quite a bit of gunk under the black rubber flap???, but cant imagine this would cause a failure code on the lights…….but then again, what do i know. 😉

filled waste trap area with hot water, and seems to be now running through a cycle. lets hope 😕 .

    cheers

    Si.
