KeymasterMachine about 2 years old and is now now not cleaning dishes properly. Seems to go through cycle OK but some dishes clean others have hard crystaline like dirt deposits on them which I think is just food that is dried on. Started with just top basket items not getting clean but now its all. Don’t believe arms are rotating currently, if at all as set them in a certain position and they only occasionally appear to have moved after say 30 secs of washing. Water is definitely coming out of them as I can see it falling when door opened. I have flushed arms out on several occasions and they never are blocked. One thing I notice about the rinse aid is that it only seems to take a really small amount even after weeks. Could there be a blockage here too? Is there an easy way to check? I still think the arms not spinning is the main issue. Can any one help, please? Thanks

If any one know where I could download a user manual too, I’d appreciate it. Thanks

The crystaline deposits are particles of food. Remove both spray arms, clean out the filters then put the machine on rinse without refitting the spray arms. Make sure the jets are not blocked on the spray arms, the end holes are used to propel the arms. The machine doesn’t use a lot of rinse aid each wash.
You’ll have to continually pick the food particles out of the spray arms for a while until the whole system is cleaned out.
Hope this helps.October 19, 2004 at 6:23 pm #118102admin

You must have been watching me 8O. After my post, I did just that. I guessed the end holes were the ones to check and did find a slither of food or something in each arm. Tricky to remove but got them out in the end. Cleaned the filters too whilst I was there. Touch wood its been cleaning OK for the last couple of days. Thanks for input.
