Diplomat ADP 8132 Top sprayarm not turning

Hi,wondering if anyone can help with this one,dishes in top basket not cleaning properley,filters clean & have used a dishwasher cleaner,spray arms clear and spinning,when i open door in mid wash top arm has not moved,-water is coming from jets on arm but no motion??
Everything else seems fine

Possibly underfilling. See if there is a rubber flap in the sump, under the filters. If yes, use a flexible tool – stout tyrap, skinny bottle brush or the like – and rod out the tube behind.

You’ll be surprised at how much goo will come out.

yes there is a flap in the sump under the filter,gave it a good clean & yes there was a bit of muck in there,unfortunatly it is just the same,when the d/w fills the water level before it starts washing only just covers the plastic grid around the bottom sprayarm,how high should it be?, i am sure i have read on here somewhere that it should cover the top of the salt filler which would make more sense?,if it should be higher any further suggestions would be appreciated

Water level should touch the salt cap, not fully immerse it. Remove the r/h side panel to reveal the fill matrix – this is where the sump tube finishes. The bottom of the matrix itself may be gunged up. You may hit lucky and be able to clear it. You will also be able to access the sump tube from the other end fpr extra cleaning.

Power off first, mind.

finally got round to doing as you suggested,there wasnt much crap in the matrix (suprisingly),but cleaned it & all pipes out anyway and it seems to have made all the difference -many thanks,now to wash all those dishes…
