This is prop something to do with float vale but need more help pls. Appliance fill and does 1st wash, drains, starts to fill and aborts cycle flashing f7. water fill pressure is good. re-set programmer but aborts b4 can fill. seems a common problem.

There appears to be ADP 8221, 8224 and 8226 – no 7……… All SMEG made machines. If it’s the 5 led machine, E7 is flow meter fault, when no flow meter is fitted. Proceed as follows:
Reset Procedure
Switch on and press the programme button 4 times, within 3 seconds. The 1st and 5th lamps should light…….. You may have to do this several times before it works! Assuming that it does, switch off, count to 10, switch on and run the rinse programme only.From P4 of “Known Error Codes” thread at top of forum.
