Diplomat ADP 8234 dishwasher – soap dispenser

Hi folks – we have just inherited a Diplomat ADP 8234 dishwasher in our new (to us that is) house. The soap dispenser doesn’t want to open in the cycle.

If we push the grey latch it clicks open but sticks to the side where the hinge spring is. If we give a push it springs back.

Can’t see what to do – help please – we are surrounded by cardboard boxes and having to handwash & dry at the moment!! 🙁

You will require a replacement dispenser – p/no 812890060 – £40-45 from memory. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for confirmed prices and ordering.

If you are not confident, click the link below for a UKW engineer in your area.

Power off please before removing any panel.
