    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help. I have a Diplomat ADP8242, and the upper spray arm keeps jamming and not rotating, when I look, it seems that bitsof food and debris are getting stuck in the hole/jet that makes the arm rotate. When I have checked the filters, the big, flat filter in the floor of the dishwasher is warped and doesn’t sit fush to the metal floor of the dishwasher,I guess this means that food is escaping in to the pump and then on to the spray arm. This is happening 2 or 3 times a week and if I don’t realise, it means the dishes are dirty.

I have tried all of the ususal suspects to get a new filter but can’t seem to find anywhere, does anyone have any bright ideas ??

    Cheers all.

Not being cheeky, but have you tried cleaning the food stuffs of the crockery before putting them in the d/w? :rolls: a labrador makes an excellent d/w pre-wash 😆

    Hi Paul,

Yep, the filter goosed will cause the problem you have.

Dave will be able to get one if you drop him a line on spares@ukhitegoods.co.uk without any problem I expect.

    Cheers All,

Our labrador does help to reduce the ‘food load’ but really all it takes is a bit of rice or pasta and its jammed up, and I’m a bit worried about the pump with lots of stuff passing through it that ought not to.
