Diplomat ADP 8242 error code

Hi, I recently reset my dishwasher and now I get 1st and 4th light solid, 5th light flashing. I’ve checked through the forums and manual but have had no joy. Can anyone help? Thanks…

That isn’t a known error code I’m afraid.

It’s quite likely some other component is sending the PCB software in to error.

Try resetting again if that doesn’t work then it’s engineer time to be honest, check the repairs@ link below 🙂

Ok, I’ll give this a go tonight. I did go to the repairs @ link and spoke to the engineer who was allocated to me, but he wasn’t too intesested in sorting it out.

I tried a reset as suggested and now the 1st light is solid and the 5th light is flashing…what does this error code mean?

If you’re counting the 1st lamp as the furthest left then again, no such error code exists.

If the 1st lamp is counted as the furthest right then it’s an anti-overflow (flood protection) error.

The machine has entered the test phase. Press the programme button once more and the first light should go out; after this you can switch the machine off then back on again to try through a programme.

If this is not the case then you’ll have to get somone out to look at it to diagnose it further.
