Participantcan’t see whether this particular problem has been covered before.
had power cut, dishwasher leaked. not sure if coincidental or connected.
machine showed error codes. checked here and found out how to reset. took loads of tries, but succeeded. can’t remember original error.
tried machine again – cycle works ok but still leaked. water comes out at front centre bottom of machine
thought might be pressure switch problems. followed advice re E2. couldn’t be sure had identified the transfer tube, but there was no other tube, so flushed out with hose. water came back up the tube leading to lower rotating washer arm. thought this was good! cleaned all gunk.
reassembled and ran again.
water poured out the bottom again. concerned as through the electrical area behind front plate at base of machine.
so the question is…
is the machine dead, do we need engineer or is there something else we can try?
thanks in advance for any assistance. the kids are refusing to help and we’re running out of dishes!

If the water is literally flooding out, it sounds more like something’s disconnected. Is it instant, or is there a delay before the water starts running out?

thanks
on delicate cycle it only dribbled out.
on normal cycle it is fairly flooding out – the drips are’connected’ to a steady trickle. this trickle certainly occurs when in wash mode.
heven’t spotted whether any worse, say, when discharging.
and thanks again, in anticipation

You’re going to have to pull this out, get the side panels off and have a damn good look at what’s going on. I can’t see what’s happening and the machine is not noted as a “leaker” (We do have some famous ones……..). Have a torch handy and don’t touch anything while it’s plugged in!!!!!!
