Diplomat ADP 8242 no code

This machine starts the programme and then stops dead forever more with no code about 2 minutes into the wash. Heater connection burnt out though heater ok. Remade connection but still does the same although it does reset and start ok. Dispenser etc fine, so I’m uspecting its knacked (technical term) the board. Anyone had similar???

Sent board to qer, came back as no fault found (with 3/4 charged for testing 😯 . On refitting tested fine for one quickwash then same fault. Got to be boatd. Sent backto qer 😀 , this time repaired and running fine.

could be the circ pump overheating and cutting out. Often due to glass in the impellor. need to hook up a meter to the circ pump plug to check if its getting a feed.

EMW don’t do the SMEG boards at all. Shame.
