‘E1’ error (water leak in base anti-flood)

Leaking from the air chamber where it joins the water softner unit in the right hand side panel.

It seems even when I refit the two rubber gaskets from the air chamber to the softner it continues to leak past them.
Has anyone else seen this problem and know a solution?.

    thanks

Remove the two original O rings. There is not enough room to fit 2 of the same size on each nozzle so I fit a smaller thickness, smaller diameter one first then refit the original. Aim to get the retaining clip to catch tightly, so a bit of trial and error needed. Put a smear of washing up liquid on the original O rings so they will slide in the sockets easier and will compress better without the rubber sticking. For security, I zip-tie the catch lever in place so it cannot come adrift.

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.

    Hi Steve,

thanks for relpying, but can I ask a few questions as the customer is quite keen to get the machine repaired.

where do you get smaller O rings from?
I did not see any retaining clip or catch lever on the air chamber, it just pushes in place and the plastic nut from the air chamber holds it it place from inside the tank like the Electrolux IWMS system.

    thanks
