Diplomat ADP 8252 E4 Alarm code?

Hi,
I have a Diplomat ADP 8252 Dishwasher displaying alarm code E4. Does anybody have any ideas what is likely to be the cause or a possible fix to resolve the fault?

Hi Kris
If memory serves this is a heating control fault which means that you need to electrically test part of the machine…not a DIY fix?

Hi,
Would i be correct to assume that if it is a heating control fault it would likely be a thermistor/thermostat fault or possibly the heating element? I don’t have a problem with testing anything and any pointers on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

E4 is a temperature control fault.

Which could be a thermostat/thermistor fault as you say.

I would look there first.

To save time, would you be able to advise me as to where the temperature device is likely to be located? do i need to remove any panels to gain access?

Heater terminals and safety stat are located under the machine. Thermistor sensor is inside the door.

Pull the plug first.
