I’m experiencing an issue with this dishwasher, it starts the cycle then after a few moments it starts to make a juddering noise.
So I’ve read the posts relating to what I think is the problem. Is fitting the whirlpool pump (4812 361 58334) an easy job, I’ve had the machine apart, it all looks to be crammed in there?
Also, on the other side of the machine behning the salt container is another container which appears to be full of something which looks like mashed up baked beans 😕 Is this OK

    Thanks
    Tim

Article on the circulation pump issues can be found HERE.

Fitting is straightforward enough if your machine is laid on its left-hand side and the base panel removed. The only complex part is keeping the crimping rings round.

The mashed up baked beans comprise the water softener unit and should be left alone.

    Power off, of course.

    Thanks.

Does the replacement pump come with new crimping rings or will I have to reuse the existing ones

The crimp rings are available as a set, but they’re pretty expensive – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to get them for you if required.
