ParticipantHi I got one of these recently – my builder seems to have lost the instruction booklet – but hey I gave it a go.
all seemed fine for 3 – 4 operationsIt seems all is not well.. the kitchen was full of steam and the floor soaked the buttons on the front do not respond when presssed – apart from the power button which lights the green led..
any help – I’ve email extracare 2 times and telephoned 3 times -they do seem useless and point out that if the machine is not faulty ( ie: screwed up by me 😳 ) I have big bill to pay….
help please… or should I just call them out…

Call them out, its most unlikely to be your fault.
The engineers are usually not as keen to tell you its your fault anyway. They are aware of customer relations at the sharp end ie face to face, and do it far better than a telephone operative

Thanks for the info 2 years ago… the machine was replaced and it’s replacement has been just as troublesome.
This week it has stopped once again with the error for flooding – I am looking for a new one – are bosch OK?
the siemens look good but expensive – or is it a ” you get what you pay for” in dishwasher world?September 14, 2006 at 8:59 am #118077arielmad

I’ll apply some sealant anad give it try..

Well the dishwasher is now functioning and no leaks as yet after a full max cycle.
maybe put off buying one for a few months and have a buy a better dishwasher fund started -
