Diplomat ADP 8342 – not draining

I have now owned a Diplomat ADP 8342 integrated dishwasher for just over 1 year and have had no problems with it… until now that is… 🙁 After running a normal wash cycle I came home to hear a regular error bleep sound with red flashing LED’s. Opening the door I found that the wash had not completed and the dishwasher still had water in the bottom. I managed to manually drain most of the water out of the bottom by lowering the drainage hose and using gravity to expel the water. I managed to get a rinse cycle to work but again the water failed to pump/drain out as normal. I have all the water drained out again but I cannot get any of the cycles to run now and get the error LED’s flashing and beeps. Could you please help diagnose the problem and offer advice as to how I might fix it ? ❓ Thanks Marc

It’s quite likely the heater cut out has failed.

If you do a forum search for your model number (with and without a gap between the letters and numbers) there are numerous posts on this Chinese (Haier) manufactured appliance 🙂
