ParticipantHi I have a Diplomat ADP 8352 and the first three lights on the programme indicator keep flashing when switched on.
The lights are the heavy duty, normal and light wash programme lights.
Any idea what this error means?

Flood protection activated – the tray under the machine is full of water. Drain tray and find the leak.
Note – multifunction tablets produce excessive foam in these machines, which can lead to the undertray flooding. Opening the door whilst the machine is operating can cause the tray to flood.
Put ‘Haier AND dishwasher’ into the Search facility for this forum only for an indication of what your up against with these Chinese machines.
Power off if you plan to sort this yourself.
Regards,

ParticipantThanks for the reply… when you say the tray. do you mean the sump where the filter fits into?… because I have had to soak up water before there, but that has not worked in this case.
Had no choice in this machine i’m afraid… it came free with the kitchen but have seen a few bad reviews since then…

No, the tray across the very bottom of the appliance.
Free is still too expensive……

Oh ok….. Not seen any tray on the bottom… how do i access that? All I can see underneath is a big black panel at the front… if it is more inaccesible then I may need to call in an engineer

The black panel is the lower front cover, the undertray/base panel is below that – it is the bottom of the machine. Normally, you need to remove the machine from the housing for full access.
If you are not sure how to proceed, please use the link below for a UKW engineer in your area.
