Have one of these installed. And recently it just stopped working. No error lights at all and unable to press buttons. Power light comes on.

You can trick it into working by powering off and selecting programme BEFORE the power drains….Then switching back on quickly.

Ive checked the door switch, it all seems intact…metal pin is making contact both sides of switch, seems mechanically sound. If somebody could advise on how to possibly repair… I’d love to have a go!

Failing that I’ll just have to get the landlord out as its his machine. Keep up the work on the site…this place is a god-send!

    Cheers

It’s a Chinese one, so anything is possible. Check that the door latch is actually disengaging in the open position – if it doesn’t, you can’t programme the machine.

PCB failure is entirely possible, in which case encourage your landlord to buy something decent rather than wasting his money trying to fix this one.

Skip, chuck it in, get Landlod to buy a Neff/Bosch, problem sorted

Brill idea! The doorswitch must be working, when I open it mid-cycle (after fooling it and laughing triumphantly) it emits a kind of dying attempt at a ‘door open’ alarm. blip blip rather than bleep bleep. thanks for the info guys. I’m gonna fedex the washer to landlords house now.

    Game of charades anyone?
