Diplomat ADP 8352 Program Button

Please see photo. Can anyone suggest a way to repair the P button connection without having to replace the whole input board (£120) or buying a new dishwasher?

my feeling is this button may not be part of the board but more likely part for the panel

its an old unit and most stuff is obsolete. probably the only way to fix it is to cobble it some way. piece of plastic bar the right size to start ( poss golf tee) then attach the button somehow maybe with a small screw
