    Hi

I have the ADP 8902 and basically there is water in the bottom, there are no lights showing, no beep or lights when I press the prog button but when I press the power switch I can hear some relays clicking briefly, but no washing, draining or anything else.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Steve

No lights can be caused by the the door latch staying in the closed position when the door is opened. However, the machine should (in theory) continue to function.

Everything is run by the compuiter board (pcb) on these SMEG-built machines – it has to be the prime suspect.

    Happy days!

I bailed out the water….. still nothing…. about an hour later the misses presses the on switch and it comes to life and carries on as normal!

    *mutter*

Thanks for the advice, I was thinking it was probably PCB related, as it had the symptoms: I could tell there was power but there was no “fault” indication and it was acting dead…. guess I will never know why it stopped mid-cycle and played dead for a day and a bit, but at least I’m not having to do the dishes by hand!
