    Hi all,

I saw this forum in a Google search and seems like there are good bunch of people on here that might be willing to help.

There is a Diplomat ADP 8902 in my kitchen and I’m not sure how old it is. It’s been working fine up until a couple of days ago when some of lights came on. I don’t have a manual so I don’t know what the little icons mean but there are five lights next to the ‘P’ button. 1 and 4 are solid, 5 is flashing. The pump is running continuously and I’ve thrown some water in to confirm that it’s pumping out, it just seems that the machine doesn’t know the water is all gone.

I tried to do a ‘reset’ of the dishwasher – press ‘P’ four times after turning on, holding down ‘P’, and turning it off at the wall for a few hours. The latter reset the lights but the pump still runs and runs.

Can anyone suggest what I do next to diagnose/fix the issue?

Any help is greatly appreciated! 🙂

    Cheers,
    Richard.

The base under the machine is flooded causing the anti-flood device to operate the drain pump. There’s a leak underneath somewhere, most likely are the seals on the main circulating pump. 🙁

    Thanks for the response, Martin.

I’ve read a couple of articles elsewhere suggesting this as the cause. The temporary ‘cure’ seems to be to tip the dishwasher backwards (a bit hard when it’s integrated) to empty the tray, or to take the tray off and empty it. I might try this just to see if that’s the problem.

Then, of course, I need to track down the leak… 😉

Any ideas what the lights mean? I tried to find a list of error codes but all of the ones I found didn’t have anything like the error I’m seeing.

    Cheers,
    Richard.
